A system capable of guiding a robot to depalletize a pallet of bricks has been designed for an important company..
Using a combination of 2D camera and TOF (time of flight) cameras and our vision algorithms, high resolution monochromatic information and three-dimensional information are obtained. In this way it is possible to identify the position of the next brick to indicate to the robot and at the same time to distinguish the different levels of bricks so as to eliminate the risk of "taking" pieces from the wrong level.
