Can counting system

We have collaborated with San Benedetto SPA-a leading beverage company to create of an online vision system for counting beverage cans that pass along the conveyor belt.

The developed vision algorithm is based on object tracking and allows you to work on different formats of cans, allowing you to distinguish their diameter and not be affected by the different heights. It is also resistant to belt vibrations and any unforeseen movements.

In addition to this, the system is also able to check the correct positioning of the cans on the belt in order to report any problems and prevent critical issues in the subsequent stages of transport.
