We have developed for ASM Robotics a system for the recognition of defects in coated bearings of ABS.
During the production process the object stops under to our system composed by a single 2D camera. Through a series of photographs from above we can identify any faults or manufacturing defects and identify the item as defective. By means of a clamping system that rotates the bearing we can carry out the control on both faces of the object. Defective items will subsequently be eliminated from the production process.
